Celebrating Youth Engagement: A Look Back at the Circus4Climate project and a Vision for 2025

As we step into a new year filled with hope and potential, we embrace the opportunity to foster exciting projects that create spaces for participation and engagement. Our mission remains clear: to welcome enthusiastic youth who are eager to learn from one another and contribute to a brighter future.

In this spirit, we take a moment to celebrate an extraordinary group of young individuals who participated in the Circus4Climate last October 2024. Their passion, creativity, and commitment to making a difference were nothing short of inspiring.

Circus4Climate brought together diverse voices, youth from Burundi, Belgium and Guinee, all with their own experiences, fostering collaboration and mutual learning on the topic of climate justice. The participants didn’t just share ideas—they built connections that transcend borders and cultures and created a marvelous circus show filled with acrobatics, spoken word, dance and music. Their journey was beautifully captured in an aftermovie that showcases the energy and dedication they brought to the project.

But the impact of Circus4Climate doesn’t stop there. The materials created during this initiative will now serve a greater purpose, being utilized for educational programs in Belgium, Guinea, and Burundi. By sharing these experiences and insights, we aim to inspire more young people to engage in meaningful dialogue and action, building bridges across communities and continents.
