The eastern region of DR Congo has been in armed conflict for decades, with different military groups fighting each other. This has major consequences for children and youth: many are orphaned, exploited or abused. Children and youth go to work to survive, are recruited by military groups or end up in mines. Girls and young women are often victims of sexual exploitation. 

What actions have we set in motion?

With our programme in DR Congo, we contribute to these three areas of empowerment:
